At Schäfer Additivsysteme, we place great emphasis on selecting raw materials and developing products tailored to our customers’ individual requirements. We address regulatory challenges, such as the classification of triphenyl phosphate (TPP) and triphenyl phosphorothionate (TPPT) as SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern), by developing suitable alternatives.
With our products LUBIO® AW 24 and LUBIO® AW 25, we offer a TPP-free or TPP-reduced alternative to classic alkylated triphenyl phosphates and, optionally, to TPPT. LUBIO® AW 26 and LUBIO® AW 27 were developed specifically as replacements for TPPT.
These label-free and colorless innovations demonstrate equivalent or even significantly improved performance in the Four Ball Test compared to TPP-containing aromatic phosphate esters and TPPT, despite a reduced phosphorus content.
All our ashless AW additives are mineral oil-free, providing maximum flexibility for formulators.
